For my first blue fragrance, I wanted quality, so I started with Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum—and wow. Fresh, clean, and smooth—no harsh bitterness—just a masterfully blended scent that evolves throughout the day. It opens with a crisp burst of citrus and aldehydes, transitions into a heart of jasmine, vetiver, and pink pepper, and settles into a warm base of ginger, cedar, sandalwood, and amber. A journey worth taking. This stuff lasts, and it projects. While some dismiss Bleu as a mass-market creation, they miss the point—this is the original modern blue fragrance, the one that set the standard. Is it groundbreaking?
