A sweet, classically feminine mainstream fragrance. Built around florals gently amplified by gourmand nuances, it offers a pleasing balance of elegance and comfort. Almond and vanilla add a touch of sweetness and warmth, yet remain far removed from overtly dessert-like compositions. The overall impression is gentle, elegant, and easy to wear. The flacon may appeal to some and not to others. Personally, the idea of perfuming oneself from a shoe-shaped bottle has never quite aligned with my tastes since the original was first introduced. At the same time, I cannot deny its charm from a collector’s perspective. Its distinctive silhouette has become instantly recognizable, and the large family of flankers makes the design feel almost iconic in modern perfumery. Longevity and sillage are moderate rather than remarkable. A generous application and occasional reapplication throughout the day will allow the fragrance to reveal its pleasant character to the fullest.
