it appears (retrospectively) that I love perfumes by Sophia Grojsman. Jaipur 1994, Volupté 1992, Eternity 1988, Beautiful 1985, YSL Paris 1983. they are all laden with Flowers in unbelievable bunches and guirlandes. in this perfume, of which I had an Edp and the Parfum in the Haute Joaillerie Baguette (Ring) flacon, the sheer overabundance of flowers (always to my liking) is then still oversatiated with the lushest of fruits in a real Jardinière-Basket filled with these very summery and superfluously aromas which are as seductive as narcotic. I can remember the Jaipur had somewhat more of a demureness than her Big Sister Boucheron (1988). but if you see the notes you can really wonder as to how Sophia reaches this 'Breathing Quality' in a perfume so laden with Natural Aromas all, 'perfumised'. but that was also one of its attractive features: thát it incarnated the Deftness of a typical Haute Joaillerie- Parfum. the exquiseness of which is perhaps guaranteed by the Acidulousness of all used Fruits, the Juice being in the Modus of the perfume. the Plethora of Flowers always forms a balm for my heart. then the foundation of all frivolity in Powderiness (Orris, Heliotrope), Resinousness (Benzoin, Amber, Styrax), the Woodiness invigorated and granulated by Sandelwood and Virginia Cedar. (I had to verify that I had an Eau de parfum and immediately saw the image of the Luxe Vaporisateur 2.5oz75mL with Edp. with the date of 1995 attached to it.) this was another exceptional perfume which wasn't for the faint of heart, nevertheless embodying a more detracted and supersophisticated perfume, a Héréditaire from the 1980s perfumes, in truly Sophia Grojsman style, in 1994.
