Some fragrances are built to fill a room. This one was built for the person standing close enough to notice. It opens like light that's already moved past the window - pineapple, but the ghost of it. Distilled, creamy, filtered through linen instead of announced. You almost miss it. That's the point. Then the suede arrives, and the whole thing changes register. Not saddle leather, not smoke. White suede - hollowed out and weightless, like a jacket still warm from whoever wore it last. Sandalwood holds it together underneath, supple instead of stiff, warmth moving through it like breath through fabric. It doesn't perform for anyone who isn't already close. The fruity opening and the suede heart don't hand off seamlessly. There's a small gap where you expect something smoother.
