The fragrance emanating from this beautiful, pure white bottle is quite unexpected. This forbidden love potion's initial impression is one of a woody accord, primarily featuring patchouli and cedarwood. The scent opens with a solid structure of patchouli and cedarwood accords. Layered upon this are notes of dried fruit and rum. Personally, I find a similar richness in both the patchouli and rum, and their interplay emphasizes the patchouli's allure, creating a strong presence. This gives the fragrance a rich and dark impression. Furthermore, a hint of sweet vanilla adds a subtle, gentle, and alluring touch. Why represent a forbidden love potion with the scents of patchouli and cedarwood? It makes sense if it's inspired by the smell of wooden barrels in a cognac cellar and the aroma of alcohol. The dried fruit and patchouli and cedarwood, along with the aroma of rum, clearly represent the wooden barrels and rum, respectively. But why "forbidden love potion"? Considering the context in which this fragrance was released for men, it can be interpreted as a struggle between reason and instinct, as Kilian experienced the scent of a cognac cellar. This scent of cognac is so intoxicating that it leads one to lose reason and be guided to instinct. Reason is represented by the elegant cedarwood, while the alluring charm of alcohol appeals to instinct with rum. Patchouli and dried fruit form a bridge between these two. And there's another question. The title is "Straight to Heaven White Crystal." Why "White Crystal"? The answer lies in the evolution of the scent. As time passes, it becomes incredibly pleasant. Where did the initial masculine elegance of cedarwood and patchouli go? Intellect and reason melt away, and a gentle, soft scent unfolds, as if being guided to instinct, truly to "heaven." The rich aromas of dried fruit and rum purify the earthiness of patchouli, while vanilla seductively outlines its contours. Once you experience it, you lose all reason, your instincts are unleashed, and you're transported straight to heaven. The very evolution of the fragrance provides the answer to the question, "Why this title?" I was deeply moved by the meticulous calculation behind this creation.
