Review of Jazz Club by Pia Pedersen

A lost lover This is the smell of the man you meet around 2am in the bar at the Jazz Club. The man that starts flirting with you, carelessly and mostly for fun - to begin with. You have a drink together and chat for a while. After some time you sit very close to each other and this is when you notice. The smell of him. Really attractive. Smoke, vetiver and Rum. You move closer to get more of this alluring scent and he interprets it as an invitation to lean in on you and start whispering. Something about your dress, your hair, your bare shoulders. You close your eyes and keep enjoying the magnificent odor from his face and neck. He places his hand on your thigh and puts his lips so close to your cheek, you are not sure if they actually touch. You feel his warm breath and notice that his eyes are intensely looking at you. You agree to leave. He lends you his coat. It smells the same way. You grab a cab together… The next morning, even though he left while you slept, you can still smell him on your pillow.
